Julia-roberts
Julia Fiona Roberts was born in Atlanta on October 28, 1967 and was the child of Betty Lou Bredemus and Walter Grady Roberts. She is the Robertses' fourth generation that reside in the Atlanta area, starting in the family of her grand-father John Pendleton Roberts a farmer. Her father was a young man when he became interested in theater. When he was a student at Emory University in 1952 he performed in shows on campus as well as in other parts of Atlanta. In 1953, he enlisted in the Air Force. He was stationed at Biloxi in Mississippi acted in a production with Betty Lou Bredemus. In 1955, they got married and their child Eric Anthony was born. In 1957 the couple left the air force and Walter began his studies at Tulane University in New Orleans Louisiana. Walter started working at Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio in 1960. Walter along with Betty Lou produced a Saturday early morning television program that was aimed at children, named Bum Bum and His Buddies from 1964. In the same year, they made a living from it. They created an Actors and Writers Workshop in that same year. It ran for six years. In 1965, they welcomed two more children into their lives: Lelisa Billingsley as well as Julia Billingsley.
